25 students and early career young adults (ages 16-25) will receive a one-day /  behind-the-scenes visit to the set with all access. Mentees will be selected by local educational and social service organizations in the New Milford, CT community. We will select diverse candidates with a range of backgrounds. Selectees will receive instruction and  mentoring and have questions answered by the film’s producers, cast and crew, throughout the day. To maximize the value of the experience, mentees will also eat meals with the cast and crew to facilitate meaningful discussion.

We will identify and select, two early career producers to join the producer team for the film. Selectees will be chosen by the producers based on program applications received from interested candidates. Selectees will participate on all producer calls and attend all of the days of the film shoot.

During the shooting of A STAGE OF TWILIGHT we will identify and select two early career women filmmakers to receive an all-day, two-week visit to the shoot location. Selectees will be chosen by the producers based on program applications received from interested candidates. Selectees will shadow the film’s director for the entirety of their two-day visit.

As with all Cardinal Flix productions, gender equity and ethnic/racial diversity is an integral part of assembling the cast and crew for each production, a very underserved area of the motion picture business.
